About Us

Welcome to NeuGeneration Conference on Neuroscience

NeuGeneration is a two-day conference held at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, that is organized by a group of undergraduate students who share a common interest in neuroscience.  Every year, the multi-faceted field attracts a diverse group of delegates to gather for a weekend of thought-provoking talks, interactive workshops, and challenging case-competitions. As an organization we strive to provide delegates with an experience that leaves them with new ideas, questions to ponder, and most importantly unique memories and inspiration to continue learning.

NeuGeneration Conference 2019 provides delegates with the opportunity to listen to leading neuroscience researchers from across North America, participate in multiple diverse workshops ranging from concussion science to careers in neuroscience, and compete in a case-competition which gives all delegates the chance to share their passion for problem-solving through group learning and presentations. Our conference has explored a wide variety of topics within neuroscience from mental health, to neurodegenerative diseases, to topics in neurosurgery and brain plasticity. We are continually looking to find new ways to make the experience valuable for our delegates and this year we have decided to implement unique Q&A campfire sessions with leading experts in neuroscience research, as well as incorporating hands-on demonstrations with revolutionary neurotechnology.

Being only in our fourth year, NeuGeneration's main goal is to engage members of all areas of academia in the discussion surrounding the inner-workings of the brain, and to build learning opportunities to inspire the next generation of undergraduate students who are passionate about the brain. As we approach our fourth annual conference on January 19-20th, 2019, we hope to entice you to join the conversation and explore the complexity and sophisticated nature of the human mind.
